And if you're looking for a good carrier, I suggest RingCentral. The one thing if anything, is the power supply kinda can slip out easily, but that's only if you're picking the actual phone up & lifting off the desk & all that. Take care. I'll tell you, from a Sincere person- this phone is just Totally worth it, seems like it will last a long time too. And I use it alllll the time. I have done my Dilligents let me tell you. & A Fax number which is also 800 (My choice) And I haven't come close to hitting 5,000 minutes I'm on the phone all the time for business.
I pay Fifty bucks a month & I get Unlimited calling in all of USA & Other countries as well I think (not 100% on that part) But Unlimited is (5,000) Minutes & I get a local number, an 800 number Or Toll free (866,888 etc.). And yeah I'm just being helpful by the way. Reliable. It's not uncomfortable by the way. It never happens to me, unless I'm like picking up the phone. Yeah & all the other prices on the phones seem to be out there.
And I have checked out all the major competition, I was even with one of them before. I believe the first month with them is free. Everything about this phone is real good. It's great, not uncomfortable at all, can talk on hit for hours. And yeah RingCentral is the best price & Quality for me.
It works great in all respecr except as a speakerphone. If you need a speakerphone which may be shared by more than one person, this is not a phone for you.
Don't buy if you can find something without this problem. It is absurd and stupid to have these connections so insecure that important calls can be disrupted so easily. The phone has two network connections that are not secure, so the slightest movement can dislodge them causing the phone to lose its connection. Phone cord connections are not new and, in fact, the connection to the handset is quite secure, as you expect with phones who have handset and phone line connections. I might have rated it too high overall, but most of the electronic features of the instrument have worked OK, so I did not give it the lowest rating.
If you compare it with speak phone in most of high quality office phone, it is not that good. Set up is not that hard at all. There is minor problem with phone. The phone just works great and I can manage 4 phone lines with this product. If you compare it with that of regular home phone, the speaker is better. I am really a fan of Linksys product. their interface is very good. The quality of the speaker phone is not loud enough.
Have had it for two years without any problems whatsoever. Cisco provides regular firmware updates which is an added plus.My only complaint is that the phone does not log incoming calls when in the do-not-disturb mode, unlike the grandstream phones that do so. Excellent phone, great sound quality, the best IP Phone on the market. The phone is well built to withstand daily use and is very customizable to match any needs.
